Michael Rozyne is the Executive Director of Red Tomato, a non-profit food centre based in Plainville, MA. He has been marketing small farm products for three decades, including work on conventional and organic farms in Maine, and as a purchaser/marketer for a regional food distributor in the Northeast.

In 1986, he co-founded Fair Trade Coffee Company Equal Exchange, which is now the leading US Fair Trade Company. In 1996, Rozyne launched Red Tomato to bring the principles of global fair trade to farmers in the United States. His current obsession is to find a way to make local produce available in a grocery store near you.
